WP-EMail With Rel=”NoFollow”
By Benj Arriola - Posted on Mon Jul 3, 2006I decided to edit Lester Chan’s WP-EMail to include a rel=”nofollow” since every page will have the same content on every article. Google will just treat it as different pages with the same content which can pull down ranking. I added the modified plugin here. Although this is very easy to modify, but for some that are not that familiar with PHP may not know how to edit it well.
Download: WP-EMail with rel=”nofollow”
I just downloaded WP-EMail 2.06 from Lester Chan’s Website which was updated July 1, 2006. The rel=”nofollow” is not that hard to add. And I suggest if ever there are future updates for WP-EMail it would be best to get it from the original source on Lester Chan’s download page and I will also suggest him to add the rel=”nofollow” in his future versions.

[...] This was implemented on isulong-seoph.com already and hopefully Google corrects itself on the next reindexing. You can download the modified WP-Email plugin on the downloads page. We are also going to send this article to Lester Chan so he could possible include it in the future versions of his cool plugin. [...]

[...] Wordpress Plugin Wizard Lester Chan takes note of duplicate content problem with his plugin WP-Email and adds it to the CVS. He’s a nice guy considering he is doing all these plugins for free. [...]
